NYCEDC is redeveloping a site at 124 East 14th Street in the Union Square neighborhood of Manhattan. The space will support the development of 21st century skills, create a high density of quality jobs per square foot, and promote the formation of next generation companies and industries in New York City. Sam Schwartz is currently preparing the Environmental Assessment Statement in conformance to City Environmental Quality Review (CEQR) requirements for a series of discretionary approvals to facilitate the project, including zoning map and text amendments, a special permit for modifications for height, setback and yard regulations, and approval of business terms for transactions with the City. The project will provide a mix of office and retail space that will support the City’s job creation and workforce development goals.
