Sam Schwartz assisted Lime with analysis of dockless bikeshare and e-scooter deployments in several cities. For the New York City dockless bikeshare program, Sam Schwartz conducted demographic and geographic analyses to inform deployment strategies and strategized community outreach tactics. In San Francisco, Sam Schwartz developed deployment scenarios for e-scooters that would contribute to transportation equity in the city, while maintaining a certain level of availability across differing neighborhood densities. In a comparative study of Seattle and Chicago deployments, Sam Schwartz assessed the impact of lock-to technology requirements for dockless bikeshare on transportation equity and bike availability.
