Sam Schwartz is providing expert technical review of JFK Airport’s preliminary designs for arrivals frontages of all ground transportation services, especially for Transportation Network Company (TNC) operations, through every phase of PANYNJ’s five-year, $14B redevelopment program, set to commence in Spring 2020. Our unique history and experience with airport TNC operations is helping JFK to maximize operational efficiency, safety, and customer experience while minimizing impacts within the physically constrained Central Terminal Area.

Sam Schwartz evaluated potential remote frontage locations and designed preliminary operations concepts for TNC pick-up facilities. The team is also advising on existing and future technologies that may be implemented to improve critical performance metrics such as customer walk and wait time, and TNC vehicle throughput. All recommendations are balanced with considerations of all modes to ensure smooth operations and flexibility for future technologies.
