Glenpointe Wayfinding Design

Wayfinding sign installation at roadway exit

Sam Schwartz evaluated and improved the wayfinding conditions at the Glenpointe business campus in Teaneck, NJ. The firm inventoried and reviewed directional, monument, and trailblazing signs throughout the campus and developing a comprehensive sign modification plan. Additionally, the team designed and proposed off-site signs to be located within the right-of-way of the adjacent road to assist navigation and trailblaze the recently-opened Hampton Inn & Suites across Glenwood Avenue. Sam Schwartz balanced the need to maintain AASHTO clear zones and intersection sight triangles with the client objective of optimal sign placement. Overall, the firm identified 25 existing signs, revised 15 signs, and designed 5 new signs. Sam Schwartz also submitted site permit plans and assisted the client in obtaining county and local approvals.
