Mr. Kim has a wealth of experience in providing technical transportation engineering and planning services. He specializes in operations development, congestion mitigation, and comprehensive transportation planning. Since 2015, he has been providing extension of staff services for assisting the PANYNJ’s Traffic Engineering Department beginning with the redevelopment of LaGuardia Airport followed by JFK Airport. He currently provides operational oversight of ground transportation services, traffic impact and mitigation planning, and construction logistics the Landside Transportation Management Command Center, and data reporting & analysis.
Mr. Kim has served as the principal author of numerous NYSDOT Highway Safety Investigation Studies and corridor studies for PennDOT and NJDOT. He is always exploring new opportunities to leverage data to solve enduring especially curious about the impact of “big data” upon traditional traffic engineering problems.
