Sam Schwartz prepared an Environmental Assessment Statement (EAS) in conformance to City Environmental Quality Review (CEQR) requirements for the rezoning of a multi-lot property in the Bronx, facilitating the development of a 12-story, approximately 165,000 gsf residential building containing 165 units of affordable housing. Since the area to be rezoned included multiple lots in addition to those on the development site, the EAS assessed the total impact of all development that could potentially occur in the entire rezoning area. The EAS conformed to guidance provided in the 2014 CEQR Technical Manual and included detailed assessments of the potential impact of the proposed project on all impact categories required under CEQR.
