SSE is part of a team lead by Jacobs to identify and select a major transit investment in the vicinity of "the Hub" area in Nassau County, Long Island. Building on the work done for the Major Investment Study, SSE will assist the team in identifying a mode and route to provide better inter- and intra-County links; improve transit access to major activity centers and planned mega projects; and ultimately reduce auto usage and congestion in the County. SSE's efforts will focus on developing alternatives for Bus Rapid Transit service through this area.
