SSE has a three year Engineer of Record with the City of Clearwater. SSE provides transportation consulting services to the City and is currently under contract for two traffic calming work orders. Traffic Calming designs are being prepared for the Hillcrest and Greenlea Otten neighborhoods. The work assignments have a total fee of $675,000. The designs include modern roundabouts, mini-roundabouts, oval medians, mid-block chicanes, landscaped medians and gateway entries. SSE engineers are coordinating the designs with the local fire and rescue department, solid waste department and school board in order to accommodate the vehicular movements.
