Alfred G. Meyer, AICP

Senior Vice President + General Manager (Newark)

With nearly 27 years of public and private sector experience, Alfred Meyer is knowledgeable in the fields of transportation planning, waterfront facilities planning and design and real estate development. He has a wide range of multi-disciplined project and staff management experience in the planning, design and development of major capital improvement projects. In addition, his experience with complex permitting procedures and environmental impact analysis is extensive.

Prior to working at SSE, Meyer was a Vice President at the engineering firm Hayden Wegman from 1990-1997. From 1989-1990 he was Director of Transportation at Hartz Mountain Industries, and prior to that he worked for the NYC Public Development Corporation and New Jersey Transit. He has a B.A. in City Planning from Rutgers University and a Masters in Urban Planning from Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation.
